I don’t think I posted here that my RR was received - it looks wonderful, and will be framed as soon as possible in the New Year.  Even though I’ve completed one RR before (my ducks one), this Quaker Friendship RR means more to me because of the lovely group of ladies involved - it’s been a sincere pleasure stitching this with you all, and every single one of the pieces is truly stunning with the different fabric and thread choices.

Thanks again ladies for a wonderful stitching experience - my RR will be truly treasured for many many years to come! D

It just arrived and it looks lovely! Thank you all so much. It’s so much nicer than I thought it was going to be and those colours do work after all! I’m really pleased! There’s a picture on my blog. I need to iron it and decide what frame to get. It’s definitely getting framed asap!

Thank you Karen for organising the RR and thank you everyone for stitching. What a year it’s been for all of us - babies and babies to be and moving houses and countries and lots going on in all our lives.

I’d love to do a RR with all of you again some time but I suspect now is not a good time for most of you. I have been eyeing up the Ackworth Friendship Book though and I can’t think of nicer people to stitch it with. So maybe some time in the future?!

Thank you all so much again!

And I’m so excited and thrilled! It’s absolutely beautiful and I love it so much! :D And I’m amazed at how *small* it is, compared to some of the others ;) I actually just measured and the fabric is nearer 42ct than 40ct so a huge thank you, especially to those of you not used to the smaller fabric counts - I apologise for the torture I must have inflicted on you all  You’ve all done a fabulous job - thank you so much for being a part of this RR, it really has been wonderful. {{{hugs}}} Also, big thanks to Barbara for getting it back to me before Christmas, that was a bonus!

I’m not going to post a pic, because a) it looks no different from Barbara’s pic in the previous post, since I haven’t had chance to add in my initials and date yet and b) we all know what a bugger this fabric/thread combo has been to photograph accurately and the light is really bad today. But thank you all again so much for doing such a fantastic job! Merry Christmas to you all! :)

Just a quick note before I toddle off to dreamland to tell Karen that her Quaker RR is finished and it looks great! I’ll post pictures tomorrow - maybe we’ll even get some decent natural light to photograph by. ;) I’ll have this off in Monday’s post, Karen.

Edited to add the promised picture! :)

Barbara - your RR is finished and in the post home! It looks lovely and was great to work on. I’m not sure why the photo looks as if the fabric is brown - must be the light. I seem to have lost any photo mojo I had recently!

PS I’d forgotten all about Anne’s comments about bulls with horns until I did the very last set of ‘horns’ - then I suddenly realised why I found them a bit weird. They definitely look like heads with horns!

Hi ladies, I’ve just received a parcel from Anne with both Nicki’s RR and my finished piece.  Oh wow, I’m just so excited about how its turned out, a big thanks to you all for stitching on my piece and making it such a lovely and special project to be involved with.  I will soon send it off to be framed so will definately share a photo with you when its done.

Nicki, I hope to stitch on your piece in the next week or two so you might have it home well before Christmas.  I’ll let you know when its on its way - it looks fabulous, and your colour scheme is just wonderful.

have a good rest of the week everyone :)

It looks wonderful :) I will *try* to get a pic later :) I hope to mail it off to you at the end of next week with several other items I need to mail. :)

I enjoyed stitching on everyone’s RR :) Thanks for asking me to be a part of this lovely group of friends :)

Sorry for the wrinkles…I stitched in hand and did not press it :) The pic does not do it justice at all, Anne-it’s absolutely lovely!! It’s all packaged and ready for travel when I head to the P.O. next week :)
